Join Us for Our Special Day

01.    Date & Venue

Wedding Date: 11th July 2026
Venue: Taverna Di Bibbiano
Address: Loc. Bibbiano la Taverna, 35
53034 Colle di Val d'Elsa (Siena)

02.    Cerimony

Ceremony Time

The ceremony is currently planned for 17:30, with guests asked to arrive no later than 16:45–17:00 to enjoy a welcome drink.

If there are any changes, they’ll be minor - the ceremony will still take place around this time of day (it's July in Tuscany… a bit too hot any earlier!).

After the ceremony and wedding dinner, we’ll celebrate with an outdoor party until midnight, followed by indoor festivities until 2:00 AM.

Please note:
We’ll keep this website updated as our big day approaches. It’s still a bit early to say exactly what we’ll be doing (we’re not that organised), but we’ll share any plans here - like where we’ll be hanging out in the days before and after. You can do as much (enjoy the Forte dei Marmi beach, a drink in the countryside, or a mini holiday) or as little (just show up at Taverna di Bibbiano ready to celebrate) as you like!

Our Story

Launching Britaly

One of the things we’re most excited about (apart from, you know, getting married) is bringing together all of our favourite people – even if half of you won’t understand a word the other half is saying.

We’ll have Brits doing their best hand gestures and Italians wondering what “cheeky pint” means, but if all goes to plan, by the end of the night we’ll all be on the dance floor together – Prosecco in one hand, tiramisu in the other.

To help you break the ice, here are a few handy phrases that might come in useful (or at least get a laugh):

  • 🇬🇧Hello /  🇮🇹Ciao

  • 🇬🇧My Name is… /  🇮🇹Mi Chiamo…

  • 🇬🇧How are you?  All good? / 🇮🇹Come Stai?Tutto bene?

  • 🇬🇧Good! / 🇮🇹Bene!

  • 🇬🇧Great! / 🇮🇹Grande!

  • 🇬🇧Would you like a drink? / 🇮🇹Vuoi bere?

  • 🇬🇧Yes / 🇮🇹Si

  • 🇬🇧No / 🇮🇹No

  • 🇬🇧Let’s dance / 🇮🇹Balliamo!

  • 🇬🇧Cheers! / 🇮🇹Cin-Cin!

  • 🇬🇧Thank you / 🇮🇹Grazie

  • 🇬🇧Nice to meet you / 🇮🇹Piacere

All Roads Lead to Love...
Tuscany

Plan Your Trip

The venue is located in the Tuscan countryside, approximately 1 hour 10 minutes from Pisa Airport.
We strongly recommend hiring a car, as public transport options in the area are limited.

We are working on organizing some transport options for the wedding day, but please note that due to the rural location, this may not be feasible for everyone. Depending on where you're staying, you might need to arrange a taxi – please be aware these can be expensive and need to be booked in advance.

The venue, Taverna di Bibbiano, is where we stayed during Jess’ first trip to the Tuscan countryside.
It’s not fancy, but it has a rustic charm and is surrounded by everything we loved about that first visit – rolling hills, wine, cheese, pasta, and those long, golden evenings that Tuscany does so well.

That trip holds such happy memories for us, and it feels incredibly special to be returning to this place - now to get married, and to share it with all of you. ❤️🤍💚

Transport

Airport

The closest airports are Pisa (1h10 drive) and Florence (50 minute drive). However, Pisa usually have cheaper flights.

Transport

We highly recommend hiring a car as it will be cheaper than a taxi (car rentals are super easy to arrange, with low cost options too). If you are planning or considering exploring the beautiful Tuscan countryside, then you will need a car.

We recommend keeping transport in mind when booking accomodation, as public transport in the countryside is limited. While we’d love to help with transport for the wedding day and evening if we can find a good option, we can’t currently guarantee it will be provided or which areas it would cover.

We’ll share updates as soon as possible - we just have a few other wedding bits higher up the priority list at the moment. Bear with us (we’ve got a whole year!). 😊

Help Us Safari in Style🐘

Having you with us to celebrate is truly the greatest gift. We know many of you are travelling to be there, and your presence means the world to us.

If you are thinking about giving a gift however, then a contribution to our honeymoon in South Africa would be a wonderful way to help us begin married life - with sunsets, safari, probably the occasional travel mishap, and our first long-haul trip together: a new adventure to celebrate the start of our next chapter.

You're welcome to bring your gift in person on the day - we know that's what most people will do, and it means so much to have you with us. But if it’s more convenient, you can also contribute via bank transfer; we’ve included the details below for ease.

We’re mixing two cultures and traditions here, so truly, whatever feels right to you. Your gesture will be hugely appreciated - but please know that your love and support is absolutely more than enough.
